NEW MORTGAGE RULES- WHAT THEY MEAN TO YOU?HOMES IN PEEL AFFORDABLE OWNERSHIP PROGRAM
Finance minster, Jim Flaherty announced tighter lending standards for mortgages recently. His purpose? To prevent homeowners from getting into financial difficulty when mortgage rates rise. There will be a new program, Homes in Peel 2, to be launched in the Spring of 2010. Approval has been reached and the new guidelines are being decided. I will update this, as soon as new details are available.
